The HESS-HY-S series is a meticulously crafted single-phase Hybrid inverter, designed to meet the energy needs of residential homes.

Offering a diverse range of Hybrid options spanning from 3.6kW to 6kW, the HESS-HY-S series caters to a wide spectrum of scales and application scenarios, ensuring adaptability and versatility to meet the unique demands of various households.

The 5.0 Hybrid can have up to 7.5kW of PV panels attached although it is 22.7A limited. It can therefore supply up to 5.0kW of power from the solar to the load and simultaneously charge up to 2.5kW of power into the batteries. All Hanchu Hybrids are compatible with Hanchu LV (low voltage) lithium batteries which range from 3.2kWh, 5.12kWh to 9.4kWh.

Accessing the Hanchu monitoring features is convenient and flexible, with options to view via a web portal on laptops and PCs, or through a dedicated Mobile App designed for smartphones and tablets. Stay connected and informed about your energy system’s performance, wherever you are.

100AMP Charge + Discharge

The Charge rate plays a critical role in dictating the capacity of your batteries to store power, the amount of solar energy you can harness, and the speed at which your batteries replenish their charge. Conversely, the Discharge rate determines the extent to which your system can support the load when solar energy is unavailable, relying solely on battery power.

Given that our system employs Low voltage batteries interconnected in parallel, it consistently operates as a 50V system. Consequently, the maximum capacity for both charging and discharging is calculated by multiplying the current (100A) by the voltage (50V), resulting in 5000 watts of power, equivalent to approximately 5.0 kilowatts. This calculation signifies the upper limit of power throughput achievable within the system’s parameters.

The latest update to the Hanchu range introduces an innovative addition: advanced weather compensation. With this new feature, customers can now finely tune their Hanchu controller and battery charging schedules based on the forecasted weather conditions in their local area for the following day.

This functionality empowers you, the customer, to program your battery system to charge optimally during nighttime hours, aligning with the anticipated weather patterns. By leveraging tomorrow’s forecast, you can ensure that your battery operates at its peak efficiency, ultimately resulting in significant cost savings and maximizing the return on your investment in the Hanchu range.

Grid Charge

The latest energy providers are introducing a groundbreaking offer: remarkably inexpensive renewable electricity during off-peak hours. With this new development, users of the Hanchu range will have the opportunity to optimize their energy consumption strategy. By programming their devices to leverage these cost-effective off-peak tariffs, they can efficiently charge their batteries during times of low demand.

Later, when electricity prices surge during peak hours, they can tap into the stored energy, effectively minimizing expenses while maximizing sustainability.
