Hanchu Ess 9.4kW

The Hanchu 9.4kW is the first domestic storage battery that uses Blade technology, a technology commonly used in the automotive industry. Certified to various international safety standards, Blade technology significantly passes the standards for the Hanchu Ess 9.4.

There is also an internal capsule which, in the event of critical heat detection would explode and cover the internal cells of the battery in a protective coating. This would prevent any chemical reaction from occurring due to the sudden rise in temperature, allowing the battery to remain inert during the fire.

Each Hanchu Ess 9400 HPD Lithium battery has an individual modem built in. When running, the battery can be connected to the internet, allowing specific monitoring, technical support and future upgrades.

Having a 95% DOD, the Ess 9.4kW makes every bit of energy count. The lithium battery operates on 95% of its capacity, which is normally around 90% on other battery brands available on the UK market.

With the charge rate being 100A, this paired with a Lux controller will allow 2kW with a single battery.*

The Hanchu Ess 9.4kW battery will remain at full capacity at temperatures as low as 0°C. It will also operate at optimum levels in temperatures up to 50°C, making it efficient in a wide range of conditions.

Each individual Hanchu Ess battery can be put online to allow monitoring by the manufacturers on the Hanchu monitoring platform. The battery monitoring is in addition to the Lux system monitoring, allowing individual or connected batteries to be remotely analysed and supported by the manufacturers.
