The Lux Power Tek Trip12K is a robust three-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential and commercial energy systems.

It integrates advanced technology to manage both solar power generation and battery storage, optimising energy usage and ensuring reliability. The Trip 12kW has a Max Charge/Discharge capacity of 12KW (with sufficient batteries), and a PV input of 18kw. Therefore, the Trip 12kw supports substantial electrical loads, making it suitable for larger properties or businesses with significant energy demands. The hybrid functionality allows it to seamlessly switch between grid power, solar power and stored energy, enhancing efficiency and reducing dependency on the grid. This flexibility not only maximises the use of renewable energy but also provides a backup during power outages, ensuring continuous supply.

In addition to its powerful performance, the Lux Power Tek Trip12K features an intelligent energy management system. This system includes real-time monitoring and control capabilities through a user-friendly interface, accessible via mobile devices or computers. The Lux Trip 12kw have 150% load sharing, meaning it can allow up to 150% of the load per phase where other phases are not demanding much power.

All our LuxPower Controllers come with a comprehensive 12-year manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring that you can rely on the performance and longevity of our products with absolute confidence. At an extra charge, this can be upgraded to 20 years warranty, giving you peace of mind when it comes to your investment.

150% PV over-sizing

The Lux Trip units have the ability to create higher output for each string. If the export max is (for example) 12kw over 3 strings this would normally equate to 4kw per string. However, if one of the strings requires less power then the other ones can contribute up to 150% of the power up to the maximum of 12kw. So, if string 3 did not require any power, the other 2 strings can export at 6kw each (to the max of 12kw).

Monitoring

The LuxPower Trip12 Hybrid comes with Free Advanced Monitoring, giving the user a full insight into the system. The platform is an overview of the system performance providing daily, weekly and monthly information.

Advanced Weather Compensation Programming

The LuxPower range now comes with advanced weather compensation, which makes weather predictions. This feature allows users to program night-time grid charging of the controller and batteries based on the following days local weather forecast.

Grid Charge & Octopus Agile/Outgoing/Go Compatible

New energy providers will now provide extremely cheap off-peak renewable electricity. The LuxPower Trip12 Hybrid can be programmed to take advantage of these cheap off-peak tariffs to charge the batteries to use the energy when the tariffs are high.

12000W Charge + Discharge

The Trip units are named according to the max Charge/discharge of the unit. In general, the Solar input is 150% of this value. Therefore, the Trip 12Kw unit has a max charge/discharge of 12kw (depending on the number of batteries connected to create the voltage), and can have up to 18kw of solar PV.
