LXP7000 Hybrid
(Parallel)
A powerful single-unit solution, the LuxPower 7000 Hybrid brings solar inversion and battery storage combined for a powerful controller device.
Able to handle a charge and discharge rate of 7kW, the unit also has a separate input for a generator, improving flexibility. As the LXP 7000 Hybrid has a charge/discharge rate of 140A a combiner box must be used to create this amperage safely.
Without the use of a combiner box it is possible to install one to eight Hanchu batteries, however it must be reduced to 100A on the Lux controller to ensure there isn’t any overload. Fully monitorable on LuxPower Monitoring app, this allows users background performance insights and technical support.

Parallel units: What does this mean?
A parallel unit is a unit which can be used as a single stand-alone unit, or as part of a larger system. If more than one unit is being used in the system, they can be linked together. When linking them together they operate as one primary unit, with other units operating as subordinates.
In the scenario of parallel units being used, the primary is installed exactly like any single unit would be installed – using the CT clamp to measure the operation of the property. All other units are then changed on the monitoring to be subordinate units, which mean they take commands as to whether to charge or discharge. Using multiple units in parallel provide better communication between them for more balanced performance.

LXP7000 Hybrid Overview
Up To 20 Years Warranty
All our LuxPower Controllers come with a comprehensive 12-year manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring that you can rely on the performance and longevity of our products with absolute confidence. At an extra charge, this can be upgraded to 20 years warranty, giving you peace of mind when it comes to your investment.
Advanced EPS
The LuxPower LXP 7000 Hybrid Controller has an enhanced EPS feature that will switch over in 0.01s in the event of a power cut. This means that the systems can also be used with Grid Share incentive programmes.
140Amps Charge & Discharge Rates
Determining how much power you can put in and take out of your batteries, the LXP 7000 Hybrid has a 140A charge and discharge rate.
When combined with a unit from the Hanchu range, which are batteries that are 50V, the max discharge rate is 7000w.
In order to achieve this though, a combiner box is required. For full information on this, contact our customer support team who can advise on this.
Advanced Weather Compensation Programming
The LuxPower range now comes with advanced weather compensation, which makes weather predictions. This feature allows users to program night-time grid charging of the controller and batteries based on the following days local weather forecast.
The feature will allow users to operate the battery at its optimum level and increase efficiencies, and as a result save more money.
Advanced Monitoring
The LuxPower range comes with Free Advanced Monitoring, giving the user a full insight into the system. The platform is an overview of the system performance providing daily, weekly and monthly information.
This allows you to simply change settings such as charge rates and make use of the excellent free Lux programs. The Luxpower monitoring can be viewed via a web portal on PCs and laptops, or on a mobile app for smartphones and tablets.
Grid Charge & Octopus Agile/Outgoing/Go Compatible
New energy providers will now provide extremely cheap off-peak renewable electricity. The LuxPower range can be programmed to take advantage of these cheap off-peak tariffs to charge the batteries to use the energy when the tariffs are high.
